About Voxcess
A small studio building software that works with a screen reader from the start.
What Voxcess does
Voxcess builds apps that a blind or low-vision person can pick up and use without hitting a wall. The first apps run on Windows and Android. More platforms and more apps are planned as the studio grows.
Accessibility-first does not mean a stripped-back version of the real app. It means the keyboard order, the spoken feedback, and the way each error is explained get sorted out before any of the visual polish. The same app works for sighted users, just without the things that usually get in their way.
Beta notice. Every app on Voxcess today is in beta. Use them freely while we test, find rough edges with you, and decide what is ready to ship.
The problem we are solving
Most software treats accessibility as a checklist at the end of a release. Screen reader users get unlabelled buttons, keyboard traps, and screens they cannot read. In India, where Voxcess is built, the gap is wider. Visually impaired users often end up stuck between mainstream tools that ignore them and assistive tools years behind everything else.
We are trying to do this the other way round. Get the screen reader experience right first, then build the rest on top of it.
About the founder

Shahzada Saleem
Shahzada is the founder of Voxcess. He is an accessibility testing professional based in Ranchi, India, with around five years of professional experience testing software against WCAG 2.1, Section 508, AODA, and Microsoft Accessibility Standards (MAS). He has worked hands-on with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and refreshable braille displays across hundreds of web, mobile and desktop applications.
He holds the TTV5 Trusted Tester certification (US Department of Homeland Security) and a Diploma in Accessibility Testing (Grade A+) from the Poona Blind Men's Association. Alongside his client work, he has trained over 170 visually impaired individuals in basic computer skills and accessibility testing. That experience shapes the way every Voxcess product is designed.
Voxcess is the studio where the accessibility tester gets to build the products he wishes existed.
